I thought you might like to know that the photo of Frid is from 1951, taken when Frid was with the Toronto Shakespeare Festival. He was in the role of Orlando in AS YOU LIKE IT. It was one of his first major Shakespearean roles. This info is from a 16 magazine article (July, either '68 or '69) Frid bylined, called "MY LIFE IN PIX, PART ONE by Jonathan Frid" (there were three parts). The photo appears in the lower right hand corner of page one. Other photos include a shot of baby Frid on the porch with his grandfather, one from 1945 when he was in the Royal Canadian Navy, and a couple of publicity photos (one from DS and one from 1949). The opposite page includes scenes from MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, CORIOLANUS, THE HEIRESS, and 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA. Hope this is helpful! :) May
